"Oh my!! I made a whole wheat boule and it is heavenly! I put in raisins and cinnamon (no walnuts this time) and it is yummy! It reminds me of a great “raisin tea bread”… I love this recipe! Your recipe here is the easiest, best tasting whole wheat bread that I have ever tried. ( Believe me, I have tried ALOT) ." ~Theresa "How did I miss this wonderful article about whole ... Read More »

Overhauling My Diet Using Cuisinicity
"I’ve got to tell you that I was about 3 months into a whole revamp of my eating when I found your recipes. I’ve slowly **and** steadily been dropping the pounds and people are now actually commenting (lost close to 25 pounds so far now). And I’m doing without calorie counting. Just nutrient-dense food, maintaining my exercise habits, mindful of portions *and* my own satiety ... Read More »
While I’m in France…
UPDATED January 19, 2017: I'll be honest, I decided to re-post this blog from last year verbatim, because I don't have time to write a brand new one as I am about to go back to France to visit my Mom and won't have access to my computer. I just didn't want you to wonder why I "disappeared"! Everything I said last year holds true so if you have the time, I think this ... Read More »

Put sugar in its place! ...and I mean that quite literally! One of the key governing principles for good cooking and healthy eating is the idea of a place for everything and everything in its ... Apple Hazelnut Kale Salad
The combination of the sweet & sour apple cider vinaigrette, fresh grated apple and chopped hazelnuts (or other nuts) with the finely chopped kale is absolutely superb! I now use this salad as a foundation: by that, I mean that I like to "build on it" and make it more of a centerpiece all-in-one meal (how wonderful is that?!) so I can add some grains and legumes or beans ... Cuisinicity Video: Crème Au Chocolat (Vegan)
So many of you have tried this recipe and LOVED it that I don't need to convince you to try it! I just thought I ought to film it in my own kitchen, just because I am so proud proud PROUD of this wonderful recipe! Note that in my typical "Dufus" absent-minded way, I wrongly say that the natural sweetness comes from the lentils, rather than the dates! But you knew what I ... Read More »
