Thanksgiving is not that far away and I know some of you love to plan ahead, and maybe even start baking some of your desserts and freeze them so come the big day, you can just sit back and enjoy. Chances are, since you are stopping by Cuisinicity, you are interested in making those desserts not only delicious but also healthy! No worries, I got you covered!
If you are a traditionalist and want to go with a classic pumpkin pie, or apple pie, or cobbler, I got those for you! They are so delicious that your uncle Bob or Aunt Myrtle will have no idea they are also good for them! sshh…no need to tell!
If you want to branch out a little, no reason not to expand your repertoire and go a little wild with dark chocolate or strawberries or even peaches (a bit of a stretch for this season)! If you are up for it, I have some wonderful desserts in store for you…and Uncle Bob and Aunt Myrtle too!
All of these yummy desserts of course have been given the Cuisinicity touch so you can expect that they’ll be lower in sugar, low in sodium or have none (you can read my post about putting salt in its place, elaborating on why it’s not as obvious as one might think!), higher in fiber, rich in healthy fats, and just filled with wholesome fresh ingredients.
Some of them are vegan, some are gluten free, you just have to choose which recipes are best for you! So, are your ready? Here are a few suggestions to start with: Take your pick…
So, gather around the table with family and friends and all your healthy desserts for Thanksgiving. Celebrate one another and all that you have to be thankful for. This is a time for love and I wish you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
