Bananas are a potassium super fruit, which I understand means they are awfully good for your heart–a little simplistic, I know but, hey, it’s true! What I can tell you with great conviction is that this creamy Almond Banana Smoothie is quick and easy. It is a filling nutritious way to start the day for you or for your child as he/she is running out of the house and even makes a great snack! It keeps well in a thermos too, so that’s love all around!

I have tried this smoothie for my breakfast and I just loved it. It is very easy and delicious. Sometimes I also add chocolate syrup.

I had a, shall we say, over-ripe banana and didn’t know what to do with it. So, I just made this smoothie for my dad for breakfast and he loved it!
