almond milk, banana, carrot juice, rolled oats, smoothies, vegan

What a creamy sweet combination! This luscious smoothie is filled with nutrients: I didn’t have the room to add the words “rolled oats” in the title, but, yep, there are there too! You could have this for breakfast when you are rushing out, or just bring it to work in your thermos! What else can I say? These power ingredients speak for themselves!

Hey Catherine, I make many of my smoothies without ice. I freeze my fruits and have found they act as ice would. So this morning my bananas were frozen, so delish !! Just a thought !!

Hi I love your website! I have a question regarding the rolled oats in this recipe. I bought old fashioned organic oats at trader joes. Can I use these? I’m not sure what the difference is between rolled & organic old fashioned style oats.

This is delicious! In fact, I am enjoying it right now. Thought it doesn’t need it, I used my vitamix (so i could use the self clean function afterwards :). It’s smooth and quite comforting. Since I am try to eat more oats, I also doubled the oats (to 4 tbsp) for my smoothie and it’s terrific. Thank you for having such an excellent site, overflowing with wonderful food ideas for us!!!
