TVP stands for textured Vegetable Protein. It is defatted soy flour. Culinarily, it sounds awful doesn't it? I think that's why I never thought to use it; it just didn't appeal! This veggie meat sauce is outrageously delicious! It tastes just like a ground turkey veggie Bolognese sauce except it's vegan!
