A lot of people ask my husband what he eats for breakfast. Well, there you have it! David’s breakfast every single day: Organic Fat free plain Greek Yogurt mixed with wholegrain cereal, a ton of fresh berries, banana, raisins and any fruit in season there is! it’s filled with protein, fiber (soluble and insoluble-That’s a good thing!) and lots of fresh fruit! Just have fun with it and make it your own–just keep it wholesome! He has this after his workout and when traveling, he packs it up in his lunch sack with an ice-pack, and eats it on the go! I just discovered that his breakfast was featured here! This is definitely the breakfast of my Champion!!

**Little update (January 2016): Now that we are moving toward a more sustainable diet, David substitutes the Greek yogurt with the same amount of my simply oatmeal (no added honey). Click Here for the recipe!

NOTE: This makes a HUGE serving which is way too big for most people so I would recommend for a regular breakfast to consider eating half!

David’s Favorite Breakfast

David's favorite wholegrain cereal is Nature's Path Organic multigrain or Synergy or Heritage flake cereal. I have it ready to go in a big open-mouth jar on the kitchen counter (see below).

Looks awesome, but is it really just 1 serving? From the ingredient list, it looks waaay too much for a single breakfast, haha.

Hahaha!! Excellent point Yamil! YES for him it IS one serving! It’s more of a breakfast/lunch for him and it’s typically after an hour of an intense aerobic workout! He takes whatever leftover there is with him to work and finishes it off!

I’m so jealous of this. I love to eat Greek yogurt but it does not “love me back” and I can’t tolerate any berries (they make me breakout in a rash). Finding a lean protein, high-antioxidant breakfast is a challenge! Esp the lean protein. There’s other great fruit that I do eat but the lean protein is tough. A girl can only eat so much turkey. LOL. thanks for sharing all the breakfast ideas.

Oatmeal is a great way to start your morning. It gives you a bunch on energy, keeps you thin and you look like a million bucks!
