I’ll have what she’s having!!! OMG these apple walnut scones are THAT good! AND….they are so easy to throw together on the spur of the moment, as long as you have all the right ingredients on hand and…..YES YES YES YES!!!!
In fact, we made a batch on new year’s day and had scones and champagne on the beach to bring in the new year!
Would any other nut flour…or even ground grain work. I also saw your husband today on the Alzheimer’ Prevention videos (excellent, btw). I’m part of a study using the ReCode protocol and am limiting carbs to burn ketones.
Hi Donna, I don’t think a nut flour will work here, but to be honest I haven’t tried!! 🙂
Gosh they sound wonderful! I want to make a batch for my grandaughter’s birthday. This is my first look at your web site. I found it while listening to David’s talk on Alzheimer’s Prevention which was so very helpful and stimulating. I was able to get the info on the recipe by running the video several times but I need the oven temp and time to amke this surprise happen. Tne best gift though will be the website. Megan is a freshman at the University of Arizona majoring in nutrition. A vegan for 3 years I am sure that she will love your website. Thanks to you both for your sharing on the web for all to benefit. GaLE
That’s wonderful Gale!! Remember to go to the recipes where I give you every instruction you need. For the apple vegan scones here is the link:
