AHHHH the aroma of the spices, curry, turmeric, cinnamon, that fills my kitchen when I make this “comfy” good-for-your-soul soup and the sound of onions sautéeing in olive oil…..I love it all! It is so easy to put together, you can even throw it in a crockpot if you want and have it ready for you on a cold fall or winter night!
Watch….at one point I hold the pot with my bare hands to show you the content and make a quick dash for the mittens, as though nothing happened, while keeping a straight face and internally shouting OUCH!! That’s actually typical of me, because I rush through everything-ahahaha!!
…and here is the recipe!
I didn’t notice the pain you experienced, but loved the “Que c’est bon!” I make this recipe at home and it is so, so good and I say the same thing: “Oh la la, que c’est bon!”
Hahha Julie ça me fait tant plaisir!!!
Good job hiding your pain when you picked up the pot! :0 We just recorded a Cooking with the Moms podcast on lentils and pulses and created a fabulous lentil alphabet soup. So yummy! Keep the videos coming.
Haha! yes, the “show” must go on!! Where can I hear your podcast? That lentil alphabet soup sounds wonderful!!
The pulses podcast and new lentil soup recipe will be released on January 6th, to celebrate the 2016 INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF PULSES! In the meantime, you can tune in to our winter squash show or our latest show introducing The Meal Makeover Moms new Smoothie Bowl Coloring Cookbook! https://mealmakeovermoms.com/podcast/
