Wow, what a way to fuel up your body after a great workout! For me, it’s ZUMBA, I just love it!  This is my power nutrition breakfast milkshake filled with protein. The “secret” ingredients which you would never know are in there–you just don’t taste them–are rolled oats and lentils–WOW!!  I also give you the vegan option, so what are you waiting for?

To get all the exact measurements for this yummy power power breakfast drink, see my Power Strawberry Banana Milkshake recipe page.

I’m off to the store for oats! You have inspired me….it’s a perfect day for a healthy shake and apple almond crisp for desert tonight. Thank you for sharing and your wonderful website. I love it!

I’ve been enjoying your website and now find the cooking classes fun to watch. Thank you! I’ve never considered using oats in a shake. I’m curious as to the type of oats you use that you don’t need to cook them. Really??

Thank you so much Cynthia! And yep, regular old fashioned oats, no need to cook, just put right in the blender and process well and it just disappears inside the smoothie, leaving its yummy taste and its nutrition but none of the “grittiness”. So quick and easy!
