Cuisinicity Video: Silky Chocolate Pudding (Vegan)

Yum

I just could NOT wait to show you how incredibly easy it is to make this recipe!! Remember this is unedited footage (of course!) so you can time it for yourself: No fuss, all in one blender and oh my GOODNESS so delicious!!

Amazing really, it may taste like a luscious creamy decadent dessert, but in fact, it is a power snack filled with nutrients for the kids (OK …OK, grownups too!). Can you believe lentils and tofu hide in there?!!! You have no idea-All you taste is creamy chocolaty yumminess!

Sorry that the music in the background is a little loud but I get carried away sometimes!!

    Hi.
Thank you for the video. The pudding looks delicious!

I do not see the recipe anywhere on the page that shows the video for the silky chocolate pudding. Can I substitute chick peas for the lentils? Can I use cacao powder instead of the liquid dark chocolate?

Also, how much soy milk did you use and if I were to use the cacao powder, how much do you think would work?

I cannot wait to try the recipe. Thank you.

Hi Dina, thank you! You just need to click on the image of the pudding to get to the recipe, but here it is again: https://cuisinicity.com/silky-chocolate-pudding/ I suppose you could replace the lentils with the chickpeas but I find that lentils are much more subtle so you actually don’t taste them at all whereas chickpeas have a distinct taste that would interfere with the chocolate. And, no, the coca would not work for this particular recipe. You need the melted bittersweet chocolate. I hope this is helpful!

I love your energy!! I came to this page after hearing Dr Katz’s interview with Mark Bittman and Katie. We are trying to eat healthier as a family, especially for the sake of my son, who is struggling with his weight but also LOVES food. I can’t wait to try this recipe on him (and me)!

Wow, I might even have to make something with tofu after seeing this. And I loved the Earth Wind and Fire in the background!
