Ingredients
2slices100% wholegrain bread*
1free range large eggorganic, pasture-raised
1Tbspunsweetened almond milkplain
1Tbspalmond meal
1drop of vanilla extract
2tspsmart balance spreadregular
1/2tspconfectioner sugaroptional
Instructions
In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg with the almond milk, almond meal and vanilla extract.
Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, coating both sides equally. Set aside.
Heat the smart balance spread in a non-stick skillet large enough to hold both pieces of bread. Add the bread and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
